About the Book
The image of ourselves that we see reflected is so often derived from a shattered identity. We find our defining moments in the damage done to us, still piecing together those fragments of what we used to be. This collection by author and poet E. Ash Ley focuses on themes of reflection in the context of personal and cultural trauma, and the ways in which we seek to process that trauma, offering a raw and stark perspective of these processes through their own lived experiences.
