Brian Haw is best known as a full time, full on, long term, Parliament Square peace campaigner. On the 2nd June 2001 Brian Haw walked into London’s Parliament Square to initially protest against the harsh sanctions on Iraq, then the military invasion. He was by no means the first person to do so, but what distinguished him from the previous protesters was that he stayed in Parliament Square for nearly ten years serving his country on his continuous peace campaign - protesting until illness and death overtook him. Brian Haw was particularly determined to save the children and infant victims in war! This publication is a personal view in photographs and recollections by the photographer Richard Keith Wolff taken over a five year period of Brian Haw's peace camp. It’s a true story of a single-minded man of courage and conviction, setting out on doing the right thing against overwhelming odds.
