This book summarizes two photo trip in Japan, and more specifically to the island of Hokkaido. Most of the photographies are about birds, even if some mammals, like Sika deer and snow monkey (aka macaques in their onsen) are included.
The two emblematic species of Japan, the red-crown crane and the Blakiston fisher owl, composed most of the photographies, both in summer and winter. More specific, the whooper swan and the Steller sea eagle, are also showed during their favorite season: winter.
