This book is designed to be used with children who need help to understand what death means, what to do and how they feel when someone dies. Talking about the loss of someone close can be difficult but it is important for children to be able to ask questions and understand their feelings following a bereavement . This book provides the opportunity for children, parents and carers to discuss the rituals and processes surrounding death and the feelings associated with loss and to remember the person they loved.

The result of a research project the book was developed specifically for Gypsy and Traveller children but is equally valuable for any bereaved child.
