About the Creator
ELMO BAKER is the author's white-capped pionus parrot. Because the author's name was already being used by someone else, a Blurb account was set up in Elmo's name--making Elmo the author of record on Blurb's system. We may as well have a little fun with it here. STEPHEN P. BAKER is a retired I.R.S. attorney who has lived in Alaska since 1975. After 36 years of enforcing the civil and criminal tax codes at I.R.S., Stephen has finally found peace and a career that he prefers--feeding Elmo corn and peas each morning and changing his cage paper at night. Stephen currently lives with his family and Elmo in Anchorage and writes out of his cabin near Kenai Lake at Cooper Landing.
