The title is a bit presumptuous as it assumes that I have some later years, however this is not yet true. Although I’ve always enjoyed drawing and painting since I was a child I did not seriously take it up until the beginning of 2012. Previous to that most of my art was sketches or murals and even then few and far between.

Therefore I consider my paintings so far to be my ‘early years’ in terms of my development and progression as a part time so called artist. I feel I’ve still much to learn and styles and techniques are far from being honed or even known! However with no guidance or training/schooling in art, I’ve continued to follow my heart and paint what feels right and looks right in my eyes.

This therefore would seem an ideal opportunity to present my output to you all for your comment or critique. Feel free to peruse my collection, I’ve managed to squeeze in some poems that, to me relate to the paintings. I've also provided some background as to what each painting represents.
