Hanging with Turque is the story of a turquoise bead from New Mexico who becomes separated from her turquoise brother and sister beads when the necklace accidentally breaks apart on a New York street. Alone and fearful, she's eventually found by a young girl who creates another necklace featuring Turque and a variety of beads from around the world. Turque soon realizes that you do not always have to be with others just like yourself. Living together with her new, multicultural friends she was going to have a fascinating life.
