Diane and I have always been travelers, but 2012 was probably the most rewarding year in terms of the diversity of new places and experiences. Twenty-seven flights over 40,000-plus miles took us to Tanzania, Morocco, Turkey and Bhutan along with revisits to Paris and Hong Kong, two of our favorite cities. Each country was totally different but shared qualities of physical beauty and wonderful people. We were both totally enriched by our 2012 travel experiences.
