    About the Ebook

These are “photo paintings”. Using a panorama stitching application I combine as many as 30 single photographs into one huge photograph, I then montage a few of these “stitched” photographs into one huge picture. I then cut, draw, scribble, adjust, clone, etc to achieve the desired result. This process creates huge digital files (over 2GB each) and I can enlarge these pictures to 20ft. and retain pin sharp detail.
I first began using the “panorama stitching” process for my film work. It is a way of creating a much wider undistorted field of view than is possible with a conventional wide angle lens. What results from this technique is a random image, a little narrative, a deconstruction of sorts, an overlapping movie combined into one final frame, the destruction of the “square” picture.
These pictures are mostly taken in museums, and galleries. I am intrigued by the weird juxtaposed narratives contained within these spaces. These pictures are an extension of that disambiguation, an appreciation of that artificial dialogue.
