There are some amazing textures and patterns in the natural world, some so small we don’t notice them until they’re just inches from our noses. Sitting in my garden and observing all the plant life, insects, pond life etc is fascinating. Macro photography allows people to find greater detail in such things, and view them from much more interesting angles. It is through this method of photography I have examined the stunning forms in nature that can be sometimes overlooked, as well as those that are bold in their beauty. I have brought together my images in a book that I hope translates these views of the natural world to anyone who reads it.
