About the Ebook
Wisdom From Sweethaven began in the Winter of 2010 as a series of various conversations that I was having with my mother about her life in Sarcoxie, Missouri, usually as compared to my life in Dallas, Texas.
I initially shared these posts so that my friends could appreciate how my mother's logic was fatally warped and how disconnected was the land of my upbringing from anything resembling the 21st Century.
What surprised me, however, was the reaction of many of the readers of these posts.
It seemed that somehow everyone understood the fundamental logic of my mother's wisdom, no matter how convoluted the context, and that readers of diverse backgrounds and from varied geographies somehow connected with these hometown tales.
