I was born in Montclair New Jersey into a family of five. We moved several times and ended up in a big farm house in upstate New York. I went to the Art Students League in New York City. No degree, but four years of intensive study mostly at night. As I look back at my work I realize that I have been cartooning almost all my life and it finally all came together here in Florida with my best friend G. Hayslip (he likes being anonymous). When you visit my website you will see that I am also a fine art painter and have won several prizes for my work. At the North Port Art Center in North Port, Florida I served on the board for a year and I am currently on the Gallery Committee and loving it! I continue to paint and show my work at their gallery and- book writing is new to me and to my friend!
