    David Cross
    Gloucestershire, England, UK

Art College trained photographer making documentary images in the UK, primarily in the Forest of Dean. Working totally under my own direction I explore the places I can reach and develop records of times and events, mostly in B/W using a Leica MP and 35mm Lens. I set up Document Now as a place to share these photographs, several of my recent projects, over the last 3 years are concerned with the social/community impact of change in the almost sleepy towns and villages of the Forest of Dean, and neighbouring City of Gloucester. All of which of going through radical restructuring, which has a growing impact on the traditions, people and the way they have to adapt to the new surroundings. I am 50 years old and continue to love the process of making images and collating them as records. I have been exhibited several times and published 9 books. In 2019 my Coal Face project was published in The Independent, the images can be seen on my website. Thanks for looking.
