GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE is a photo series where I documented life in various parts of the world. A journey trough the lens of my analog medium format camera. Looking for scenes not put in scene. The opposite of what I normally do on a daily base as a fashion photographer. A pure observation in all it’s contrast. Some things look familiar others uncommon. Shooting bleak yet lyrical scenes, everyday settings and objects, from war museums and city views to parking lots, gas stations, roads and deserted places on earth. The format of using film enforces all the details in the images without making it too sharp (too journalistic) in combination with soft tones and contrast. A quality obtained by precise development and negative scanning. Trying to provide the viewer with a dreamy realism. A global perspective on the variety of social and political differences. The series can be details of individual experiences and yet to be shown in its wider context.
