This book incorporates ideas from several genres of photography, crossing the normal divide between photographic genres. For example some of the product photography work shown within the book, would feel equally at home in commercial photography, as it would in fine art circles. Spaces, commercial or otherwise. Architecture, black and white photography, also engaging color photography. Some portrait photography, but in a natural setting, with sometimes the engagement of the subject with her surroundings.
This is my first book, It has also been a labor of love, as I have thoroughly enjoyed the work in producing it, even though it took quite a bit of time and effort in producing it.
The hope is that in the near future It will lead to the production of other photographic books, but they will each be in a narrow photographic subject range, more specialized in various genres. For the moment, this book covers a broad subject range, for two reasons. Firstly because whilst capturing the work within it, it was carried out without the normal boundaries of genre, as one continuous piece of work without restrictive boundaries. Also whilst covering a wide and varied range, it gives you an idea of my work in general. I would really like to hear from you about future improvements I can incorporate within my work, your feedback is very important.
