Medium Exposure is a single sentence textbook that showcases experimental work and encourages the reader to stray from convention in the arts. It is divided into three sections: experiments in film, experiments in fine arts, and experiments in web design. Every element in this book has been subjected to unconventional treatment, from distorted scans of the text to over exposed pictures of web animations. The text is unapologetic about its form and asks much of the reader at times. Any reader who gives the necessary effort will develop a relationship to the material. But this book is on a frequency that will not resonate with everyone. Its appearance will discourage readers and artists who are not open-minded and deservedly so.
