    De kop van Java is een vrijwel onbebouwd terrein aan de westkant van het Javaeiland, dat grotendeels bestaat uit grote vierkante tegels, die sporen van verweer dragen en vaak tweedehands van elders kwamen. Met ogen en camera neerwaarts gebogen een paar jaar meegegroeid. Gaandeweg kregen de gesloten tegels meer en meer vat op de fantasie en onthulden ze een rijkdom die vaak veel weg had van de oneindige ruimte boven ons, het universum.
