Having lived in Alberta her whole life, Calgary-based photographer Sheena Slobodian has compiled a collection of her favorite images from all across Southern Alberta in her first photo-book Beautiful Alberta. The images contained are a varied group captured on both digital as well as small and medium format film. Although all were digitally rendered for publication, a handful were created in Sheena's darkroom at home. Sheena uses up to 7 different cameras on each of her photographic adventures to capture her images, as each type of camera allows for a different feel to the location and the mood.
