LAURA SCHWAMB is a self-taught visual artist who works in Oil Painting, Drawing, Oil/Wax Crayon, Neon, and Video. She creates semi-autobiographical characters that allude to resilience and strength, having survived prolonged patterns of behavior where one person tries to control another. She persists in documenting and creating confrontational narratives and portraits in search of accountability and peace.
