We all have our own stories. Each and every single one of us. We should embrace our stories and the stories of others. Look at the world around us. It’s saturated with people living dramatically different lives, even within the same neighborhood or classroom. For us to raise children in this world, we must teach them about people outside of their immediate family.
By the same token too many kids grow up not seeing themselves or their family represented in any of the books they read or the TV shows and movies they watch.

A mirror is a story that reflects your own culture and helps you build your identity. A window is a resource that offers you a view into someone else’s experience. It is critical to understand that kids cannot truly learn about themselves unless they learn about others as well. So for that ladies and gentlemen I present to you Shiloh and Friends. This Spring follow these five friends on their journeys of exploration as they learn about themselves and the world around them.
