About The Author...



Danette is working with a special day class preschool in Torrance, CA. She graduated as a Psychology major and proceeded in joining human resource development in the early part of her career. Plans changed and decided to shift to Early Childhood Education. She started this book as a project in one of her classes in Early Childhood Education at El Camino College (Torrance, CA). She wanted to get an A so here is the finished product. But that was not the only thing motivating her. She started to compile the many art work that her son accumulated starting from his preschool up until fourth grade. Creating the book had been a wonderful and creative experience for her. And moreso, this would be a wonderful childhood keepsake which she will pass on to her son. As for all his art work? Well, it's been thrown away but thank you BLURB…they have a lifetime of memories in one book. Why Hushabye Mountain? This is one of her favorite songs that was sung by Dick Van Dyke in her all time favorite movie, "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". Her son will be in seventh grade, so expect more books to come from her. She wanted to share this book to every mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, et al and collecting piles and piles of art work of their children, grandchildren, etc. Here is one good idea where all those art work could go.
