NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA is a sensuous city: Music perpetually fills the air, visual pleasures abound, aromas of varied cuisines invite you to take a taste, and the feeling of celebration is around every corner. The sensory overload makes it a challenge to capture all of its many charms in words; however, Bob Dylan may have said it best when he distilled down the unique qualities of New Orleans into a single line: "The city is one very long poem". The photographs contained in this volume were captured during the New Orleans French Quarter Festivals of April 2016, 2018 and 2019. Perhaps these images will add a verse to that very long poem.
