Hypochondria is the second chapbook of poetry from Wayne Mennecke. Part glossary, part teaching manual, this book of poems offers a glimpse into the personal and professional life of a high school science teacher. Each poem relates to a term or word taught in Wayne's science class. The titular word or phrase is assigned a practical definition followed by a poetic definition. Many of these poems are based on experiences Wayne has had with his graduating classes of 2017 or prior.
