[A New Typology Dedicated to Reversing Climate Change and Repairing the Cognitive Dissonance of the Anthropocene].

This analyzes of the causes and treatment of public attitudes and the cognitive dissonance of climate change that results from human activity. Qualitative analysis from case studies and quantitative analysis gathered from geographic data and imagery has resulted in a synthesis of society’s footprint at a macro scale and the impacts that reflect civilization’s changing mind sets. The project design explores aesthetic forms of environmental engagement to visualize how technological systems change the Earth, and to aid in a collective big picture driven to make sense of the complexity that surrounds the relationship between people and nature. The research suggests that although humankind are the players in it’s rapid speed, when the magnitude of climate change is fully understood, humans have the capacity to accept responsibility and combat environmental ailment through design.
