Levingston Lewis is a Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy. He is a photographer, a videographer, journalist, and Sailor, but above all else, he is a storyteller. Before his career as a storyteller for the Navy, Lev attended Murray State University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Television Production and Creative Writing. Now, Lev is studying Multimedia, Photography, and Design at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication, in pursuit of a Master’s degree from Syracuse University. As a devoted husband and proud father, much of his work revolves around relationships and how those relationships are part of the bigger picture: community. This approach to his work largely stems from his family, but also as a small-town-boy from Kentucky. Lev is proud to be a southerner and lives to fight against the stereotype and perceptive groupings against southern men. Lev is available for assignments and resides in the Washington, D.C. area.
