As I embarked on the journey of writing a book about Africa and it's true natural beauty, I realised that within this beauty and splendor, there lays a continent crippled by the hand of mankind. That is why this book is called “What God Created” for this book is not a celebration of mankind’s Africa; this book is a celebration of God’s Africa!

Stefan Mahs
Brisbane, Australia

Born in South Africa and raised in Namibia, Stefan Mahs lived in Cape Town for more than 18 years before he and his family moved to Brisbane, Australia. It was during his time in Cape Town that Stefan, his wife and their two children travelled to the Etosha, Kruger and Addo Parks, featured in his first book. Stefan studied photography through the New York Institute of Photography and uses this art form to explore and share the beauty of God’s creation.
