This is Rachael Ward, she was diagnosed with Alopecia Totalis when she was 8, lost all of her hair by the age of 9. This image captured the emotions and expressions that she display herself around others as she is always in a good mood, even crack a laugh when she is upset at something. I wanted to capture this because after what she went through, she stayed strong as well as keeping a smile on her face. so, I want people that had experienced similar fate to know that there are people out there who are now thriving and staying strong.
