    About the Book

    Edit

A collection of images from Tibet - the images in this book are scans of original art prints which have been printed onto handmade paper for an exhibition held in Canberra, Australia, in 2008.

The selected images are from a trip to Mt Kailash in 2007, where we participated in the annual Saga Dawa Festival, and joined the Buddhist pilgrims on a 3 day walk around the holy Mt Kailash.

    Col Ellis
    Canberra, Australia

Col Ellis is an Australian Institute of Professional Photography Master of Photography. He lives in Canberra, Australia, from where he runs his studio and gallery. Best known for his superb landscape imagery, Col also photographs wildlife, nature, and studio still life. Canberra is a perfect base for environmental photography, as it is within a two hour drive of the Australian Alps, the south coast of New South Wales, or the wonderful rural and natural landscape of western NSW and Victoria. Southern Australia also reflects the spectacular changes of the four seasons, with the floral displays of spring, the changing colour of the leaves in autumn, and the frosty snowfalls of winter. Col can be contacted for assignements through the website: www.gallerytwentyseven.com.au
