    About the Book

    Edit

Eroticism is a state of mind.
    Photography is a language.
Join them together to tell stories.
With EROS 2, research continues to unearth those visual sounds that make the art of eroticism imperceptibly true.
Because, as already said, a photo is the damn conclusion of an idea.
And if eroticism is a state of mind, its expression is nothing more than a personal attempt to expel the idea matured within the mind.
Photography is nothing but an instrument while the perception of reality is sucked through a subtractive process and fed into the mental filters of the photographer, to give form and dimension to ideas.
The photographer is also a man. And for this damn wrong in its foundations on which their ideas are based. But what makes all this true is precisely the attempt to be able to tell the whole of a life, between past, present and future.
It is the desperate need to stay alive ... and make sense of everything we have around us, capturing those realities, those multiple realities that are hidden within an image.
    Memories, ideas, dreams, meanings .
    Image ...
It's the beginning ... and it's the end.

    About the Creator

    Luca De Nardo
    Italia

Luca De Nardo approached to photography in casual and someway unexpected way. After working for years in the world of communication, he decides to immerse himself in new forms of language in order to tell stories through images, choosing photography as a tool to paint emotions. His continuous research and experimentation led him to discover some huge gaps in the modern language through which the magic of life is told: from female universe to the world of nature and the environment. From portraits to commercial, from nudes to macro photography. He doesn't find satisfying what he sees, especially when it comes to narrate and describe the female nude as an essence and not as a container, but even less when he comes to deal with female eroticism as content. He therefore began to tiptoe around the delicate subject of the nude and Eros as a form of artistic expression.
