About the Book
On August 22nd, after nearly a month in Alaska, our ferry docked at Prince Rupert, in British Columbia, and our last leg of the journey began. Heading east, we would travel through the Canadian Rockies, visiting Jasper and Banff National Parks, on to the Western United States National Parks, Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Badlands, and several more stops at Devil’s Tower, Mount Rushmore, and Little Bighorn Battlefield. It would take us two weeks to reach home, bring us to a total of 54 days, and 14,479 miles, plus 42 hours on the Alaska Marine Highway, since we left our home in Narragansett, RI. These photos are from that last two weeks.
