Audrey B. Grossman began to paint after her sixth child left home, and she painted for thirty years until the end of her life. She studied Chinese Brush painting which grows out of the Chinese philosophy of the Tao, which teaches that the balance of the universe is brought from heaven to earth in the way we do ordinary things. This book is a collection of her work that begins with the watercolors and ends with her exploration of acrylic paint. Each painting attempts to find that balance and by finding it, create beauty.
