About the Book
This book was a labor of love for my grandson.
A good number of these illustrations were created in 1981 while I was pregnant with Carter’s mommy and working as Art Director for Turtle Magazine for Preschool Kids and Humpty Dumpty Magazine.
They are mostly pencil drawings that I recently colored. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did adding new life to the illustrations and then writing fresh poems and stories for each one.
