African Sojourn is a compilation of photographs taken by Marie and William Payne between June 2016 and December 2017 while they lived in South Africa and traveled around the African continent. The photographs are intended to take the viewer on a journey through the cultural and geographical beauty of the continent. "We have seen only a snippet of this vast and diverse continent, but we believe our photographs provide a window into this place and the people we encountered along the way."
