This book illustrates a journey through Indonesia. We wanted to experience the country, its diverse cultures and peoples, the wildlife and the scenery. Our route started in north Sumatra for the forests and the orang-utan, to Java for the temples, Bali for itself and the up-country landscapes and finally Lombok for a rest from the three weeks of intense travel. Our experience exceeded our expectations.
