    Douglas Stoffer
    Harvest, Alabama

    Douglas Stoffer was born in Ottawa, Kansas in 1949. A professional photographer for over 40 years, he studied art and design at Boise State University in 1967. Doug served in the US Army Signal Corp.1968 to 1977 as a motion picture and still photographer. While in the Military Doug also taught publication design and layout in journalism for the Department of Defense. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Commercial Photography at Brooks Institute, School of Photographic Arts and Sciences in 1980. Douglas has made his living as a Aeronautical/Aerospace contract photographer to NASA throughout the United States. During this time Doug pursued his first passion, fine art photography. His images has been in solo, juried and invitational exhibitions across the country, most recently the Red Clay Survey, 2012 Exhibition of Contemporary Southern Art, Huntsville Museum of Art, Huntsville, Alabama
