HAPPY2BEHERE explores Los Angeles through Margaret Murphy's camera phone lens as she adjusts to life in the new home she moved to in October of 2016. Growing up in Washington, DC, she is enamored with the light and indigenous plant life of the West Coast. Capturing a type of nostalgia for a place one has never been, the mid-century color palette, architecture, signage and automobiles so characteristic of Los Angeles play starring roles in her pictures.
