This book is focused on landscapes of Northern Estonia. They definitely stand out of the rest of the country due to the weather and nature which can be considered as similar to Nordic countries. Author's mental image of Northern Estonia is Baltic klint which stretches along the coastline and makes steep cliffs over the coast of Baltic sea, erratic boulders in the sea and in the forest which were brought by the glacial action millions years ago, pine forests with rich marshlands where Estonians built useful and ecological wooden paths and watchtowers. Traveling along Northern Estonia you really cannot set villages and farms apart of beautiful Nordic nature because Estonians live in harmony with it.
