About the Book
Art is magic to me.
Before you start there is a blank page; after the record of the time you have spent. You have created this image from nothing.
Through teaching some life classes, talking at schools and tutoring, knowledge has been forming about what is missing in art lessons.
There is a lot of ‘just do it’ without much of teaching how you can do it. I’m not talking about the old style measuring with your thumb or sphere, cone and cube exercises which bored and deadened the creative experience when art was taught at my school.
These ten thoughts are a primer on helping your work move forwards. These ideas can help for when you are stuck, annoyed or out of energy.
