Children need to know that the behaviors caused by trauma can be addressed, but that it takes time. This book hopes to provide a child friendly understanding of the healing process.

    I am a veteran from a military family. I am a Masters of Social Work candidate from USC, within their veterans services track. My goal is to one day help veterans integrate into the civilian lifestyle. I developed this book after someone close to me experienced a moment of bad decisions that greatly impacted his children, and was likely the direct result of time in combat. I hope this book helps children understand that it takes time to address the impacts of trauma.
