This cookbook is about homemade foods that represent all of my ethnicities. I am African American, Scottish, English, Irish, Italian and West African. My father was adopted by Puerto Ricans so I grew up around that culture. My mother and grandmother all speak French from the western French-speaking African nations, Senegal and Guinea. With that being said, I also have grown up eating french cuisine. All of these foods I grew up eating, were made by my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. These recipes have been shared for other generations to share.
