About the Book
This is a farm to table rhyming book that teaches children how their food grows. The fiber art work illustrated by the author is a mixed media using inks, fabric and free motion machine sewing. The inspiration for this sweet story comes from an old folk song "Oats and beans and barley grow ,"

I was a kindergarten teacher for over thirty years and was raised in a agricultural area, so it was natural for me to want to write a children's book about how food grows.. This is an art book (my ink and fiber creations) and it has a certain rhythm when read out loud. Rhyming helps children learn to read. Whatever you do, read to children...I hope you enjoy my book...a special thanks to my granddaughter, MacKenna Carney who helped take pictures and upload them to Blurb..
