I am a 60 plus years old ex Civil Servant. I worked within The Ministry Of Defence in various departments and specialisms. They ranged from Logistics, Management Training and Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor. I was lucky enough to be granted early retirement in 2004, where upon I travelled around the world for a year with my then partner, Linda. Those travels included Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, The USA and Canada. Since then I have enjoyed myself travelling here, there and everywhere to listen to concerts. I am blessed with two sons, Stuart and Colin (both who helped tremendously in the production of this book.) They are as much my friends as they are my sons. I also have two grandsons, Fred and Bill, who help keep me young. I also like to socialise (that would be going out for a drink, then!) It must be said that said socialising is very much part and parcel of a lot of the music events that I attend. I was married for 20 years, but now enjoy the single life.
