This book is about artists at work.
The artist and his or her work form a unity during the production process of a work of art. It is a process that literally follows a track from the mind through the hands of the artist into physical existence. This process is what I have tried to capture in wordless photographic reports. It is not the final result which counts here, even though it can be more or less seen in some of the series for those who look carefully.
