Stephen Hall was born healthy with good genes and a cowlick in the bluegrass of Kentucky on St. Patricks’s Day. He studied painting at the Allen R. Hite Art Institute with Mary Spencer Nay, noted painter, distinguished professor of art education and wife of painter and muralist, Lou Block. Hall began his art career in the graphic arts in 1972 as art director for Louisville Magazine. During his career Hall has won numerous national awards for his creativity from organizations such as The American Institute of Graphic Arts, The Society of Illustrators, Print Magazine and The Society of Publication Designers. Clients have included The White House, US Departments of State, Labor, Justice and Agriculture, Americorps, The Embassy of Spain, The Spain ‘92 Foundation and Fortune 500 companies.
