Budding Fellows is an advertising campaign with a twist. Inspired by high end vegan, cruelty free makeup brands and current social stigmas, Budding Fellows explores what creates a brand identity. With inspiration by Georgia O'Keefe, flowers are chosen with current brand identity in mind while keeping color schemes cognizant when picking the shade; it is photographed with similar lighting to current advertisements seen in circulation today. This series combines the personas that one connects to themselves when they are wearing different shades of lipstick, along with the communities the brands market towards.. Within this series, I create lifestyles of the consumer that would wear the shade and brand, and further represent their person with defining imagery. Men are chosen to present the personas to challenge the imagery we imagine within the cosmetic world.
