About the Book
Small-format hardback/paperback, 7" square. An "exhibition in a book" showcasing the stained-glass works of two cousins both christened Margaret Rope. The book focuses on high quality photographs of nearly all the known works of these two artists, who are accaimed as outstanding exemplars of the Arts & Crafts movement in stained glass. It incorporates the text and photographs of two earlier publications: "Margaret Rope of Shrewsbury" and "Margaret Rope of Leiston". Professionally, they were known as Margaret Rope (later Sister Margaret of the Mother of God) and M.E.Aldrich Rope, respectively.
