I am a mom! I am the very proud mom of eight children. I have read tons of children’s books to kids of all ages and have always thought of writing my own. Over the years, so many ideas have come to mind and never made it to paper. Ideas that were thought of while waiting in line at the grocery store or in the waiting room at the doctor's office. Characters that were created while sitting in the car at sports practice, or dance class but then completely annihilated by the odor of sweaty lacrosse equipment or worn out dance shoes. Then this; my six-year-old daughter had a loose tooth on Christmas Eve. That was it! And Sheldon, a story that was inspired by a sticky toy from a birthday party gift bag that not only left a mark on my ceiling but who now has a place in my heart. Two ideas that evolved into stories with illustrations that are simple and sweet. I am an author! I am the very proud author and illustrator of Ruth and the Almost Christmas Catastrophe and Sheldon Stickybottoms.
