About the Book
Scotland was the destination for the Bevans in the summer of 2006.
Our first base was a log cabin on the banks of Loch Lochy. We climbed Ben Nevis, visited the wonderful Isle of Skye and explored the Great Caledonian canal on bikes.
Our second base was Eyemouth from where we explored Lindisfarne and visited Edinburgh's tattoo.
Finally, on the way back, we took in Hadrian's Wall and Vindolanda.
