It has become an established tradition that every so often old comrades of the Kent and Sharpshooters Yeomanry make a pilgrimage to one of the many battlefields in which the regiment has fought in order to honour and remember them. In 2008 a trip was organised to Gallipoli in Turkey and this book recounts, not only the experiences of those who took part, but describes the part that the Kent Yeomanry and the Sharpshooters played in this ill-fated campaign a century before.
