There have been incredible journeys, discoveries, and change by
remarkable (and some remarkably jerky) people who wanted to
learn more about our world and how we fit in it.
From Galileo discovering Jupiter’s moons to
Jacques Cousteau diving into the deep sea, we learn more about
ourselves by asking questions, understanding other cultures,
and willing to challenge what we think we know.

These works were created by Michelle McGaughey, a Beverly
animator and illustrator. She has a passion for history, maps,
science, and nature, and tries to use her works to inform and
educate her audience.
